Interesting discovery :) I just realized why I've been having trouble monitoring more than 2 input channels at the same time...It's because the MOTU 896 (original version) can only handle monitoring 2 input channels at once. I think I must have left monitoring set to "on" for the tracks I had already recorded in Garageband, which is why when I got to the 3rd and subsequent tracks I couldn't monitor directly from the 896 (only through Garageband, with lots of latency). Can't wait to try it out and see if that fixes it :) (10/28/07)
